Chef Jason Hook is an internationally accomplished culinary artist whose technical mastery was forged in the world’s most elite three-star Michelin and four-star New York Times kitchens. A specialist in grounded French technique and progressive American cuisine, Hook’s career is defined by a decade of high-stakes leadership alongside the industry’s most legendary figures.
Chef Hook’s global experience is anchored by a pivotal period in Paris, France, where he served as Chef de Partie at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel. This immersion instilled in him a relentless dedication to precision and high-level fabrication.
Today, as the founder of H2O Kitchen, Chef Hook translates these world-class experiences by redefining the dining landscape in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. His Artistic Tasting Menus are celebrated for their experimental edge—blending local, foraged ingredients with avant-garde techniques. Beyond the kitchen, Jason is an accomplished food photographer and remains a sought-after consultant for his ability to merge international sophistication with local sustainability, bringing a multi-sensory perspective to every dish he plates continuously elevating the culinary standard.
In addition to his culinary achievements, he is a dedicated humanitarian. In 2022, he traveled to the Polish-Ukrainian border to provide high-quality meals for refugees, demonstrating his belief that world-class cooking can—and should—serve a greater purpose. Whether through intimate pop-up experiences or global outreach, Chef Hook continues to push the boundaries of modern French American cuisine while staying firmly grounded in his Pennsylvania roots.
